Israeli settlers bulldoze Palestinian land in West Bank

WEST BANK, November 19 – Israeli settlers, escorted by Israeli occupation forces, on Thursday bulldozed large chunks of Palestinian land in the West Bank village of Urif south of Nablus.

Ghassan Daghlas, the Palestinian official in charge of monitoring settlement activity in the northern West Bank, said that a group of settlers from the illegal settlement of “Yitzhar” started bulldozing tracts of Palestinian land to the east of Urif village.

This moves paves the way for the Israeli settlers to take over the land, Daghlas explained.

A report by Hamas’ Information Office in the West Bank documented 1,854 violations committed last month by the Israeli occupation against Palestinian citizens and their properties in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

Over the past month, the Israeli occupation army has destroyed 29 Palestinian houses and 39 structures, including shops and agricultural facilities, and delivered demolition orders against dozens others, according to the report.
